Farewell to Our Friends

Pat Adams

The Biochemistry Department fondly remembers Pat Adams, who died on November 24, 2000 at home after a five month battle with cancer. Pat retired as a Research Specialist in 1996 after 36 years at the U of A where she worked in several biochem labs and was affectionately known as the "dragon lady". Also, Renee Latney, 44, lost her battle with cancer on January 31, 2001. Renee worked as a Secretary for the Biochemistry Department from August 1988 - July 1990.
