The Baldwin laboratory is situated on the 3rd floor of the Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Biophysics, housed in Biosciences West. The laboratory provides teaching and research facilities for undergraduate and postgraduate degrees. For additional information about graduate studies, visit the department of Biochemistry and Molecular Biophysics homepage. Multidisciplinary steps are applied to research studies in this laboratory, including the principles and methodologies of biochemistry, biophysics, molecular and cell biology, bioinformatics as well as mass spectrometry and NMR. The laboratory encourages shared equipment and expertise. At present it is equipped for the following research areas:

An alpha, beta barrel protein heterodimer, indicating proposed active site residues Vibrio harveyi bacterial Luciferase.
