Biometals Conference 2010

Abstract Submittal

The deadline for Abstract submission was June 25, 2010. Abstracts are no longer being accepted.

Poster Preparation information:

Your poster dimensions should be no larger than 7 feet wide by 4 feet high. The display boards are on fixed stands and cannot be rotated. Please prepare your poster to fit the indicated space. Mounting supplies are provided by the site.

Igor Stojiljkovic Postdoctoral Fellow and
Graduate Student Awards:

One $1000 award will go to a postdoctoral researcher and one $500
award will go to a graduate student.

Graduate students and postdoctoral researchers interested in competing for these awards should submit a poster abstract and indicate interest in being selected for one of the "short talks" which will be given at the end of each session.  The graduate student or postdoc should present a poster in which there are not more than two authors (student/postdoc and PI), such that  the majority of the work has been carried out by the student or postdoc and the PI.

From the submitted abstracts, three graduate students and three postdocs will be selected for 15 minute talks, which will take place at the end of each session.  Individuals selected for presentations will be notified by July 10, 2010. The award winners will be announced and receive a plaque at the conclusion of the BioMetals 2010 conference.
