Introduction - This script shows the structure of the green fluorescent protein from the Pacific Northwest jellyfish Aequorea victoria (Based on 1ema.pdb, M. Ormo et al. Science 273 1392 (1996)).The chromophore, which results from the spontaneous cyclization and oxidation of the sequence -Ser65-Tyr66-Gly67-, is shown in green.
