This movie shows the motions of a carbohydrate chain
attached to a protein. It is based on the NMR structures of
the glycoprotein adhesion domain of Human CD2, which has an
immunoglobulin-like domain. The protein chain is gray and
the oligosaccharide chain is green. Notice how mobile the
oligosaccharide chain is. (Based on Wyss et al.
Science 269 1273 (1995)).
