Retreat Venue and Costs for attendees' guests, not for attendees:

The Total Cost for the Retreat, including meals and a shared, two-person room, is $82 per guest
(NOT MCB/CMM/CBC AFFILIATIONS).

Some guests may choose to come just for the talks, and not stay the night.
For this reason, the individual costs of the meals and the room are broken down as follows:
meals for both days (5 meals plus snacks) = $40, and 1 shared room = $42.

Accommodations:

The rooms are arranged in 3-5 bedroom casitas, with a shared living room and kitchen. The rooms are quite spacious, with two beds (two Singles or 1 Full + 1 Single), two desks, two dressers and a closet. Each room has a bathroom with a shower (no bath), so each casita has 3+ bathrooms. The rooms come with linens, towels, soap, and shampoo. Additionally, there are fridges, a stove, a microwave, and a toaster oven in the Kitchen. We are able to bring snacks and drinks to store in the fridges.

All Rooms are Double Occupancy and cost $42 per guest per night. This means you will be sharing a room!
However, if you would like your own room, a limited number of single rooms can be requested, for an
*additional $42 charge*.
Please see the Announcements section above for more details.

Meals:

The retreat is being catered this year by El Charro Cafe, which will serve Mexican food.
They are vegetarian friendly, with several dishes (and many side items like tortillas and corn chips)
that are prepared without animal products. We have sampled a bunch of their dishes, and we liked all of them!
Very tasty! Also, their restaurant is very close to north campus; check them out for lunch some time :)

All five meals will cost $40 per guest. (This includes snacks for talk breaks and free time.)

Posters:

All attendees are encouraged to participate in the poster session.
The poster session will be held on Saturday Afternoon, September 17th.

-Posters must fit in an area 4'x 4'.

-Posters will be mounted on glass surfaces inside the Biosphere2
(see the last picture at the bottom of the page, of a previous UA poster session).
We will be providing tape for the posters as well as other basic supplies if needed.

-Presenters should be at their posters during the entire presentation period.

-We request that each presenter bring one poster.
If there are empty spaces after everyone has displayed their posters, you may put up a second poster.

-All posters from Saturday night need to be taken down by Sunday afternoon.
