Source/ Purpose: This award recognizes proven scholastic ability by unmarried upper-division and graduate students majoring in Biological Sciences or Astronomy. The departmental graduate committee selects students based on course grades and recommendations.

Eligibility: Any unmarried upper-division or graduate student in Biochemistry and Molecular Biophysics may apply for this award.
Selection process: Application form and all required attachments will be forwarded to the Awards Committee.
Notification: All applicants will be notified of outcome by early May.
