OPEN POSITIONS

Postdoctoral and several PhD student positions are available in our Structural Biology group in the Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Biophysics at the University of Arizona. 

Post-doctoral positions

Applications are invited for several postdoctoral positions immediatly in the Department of Biochemistry & Molecular Biophysics at the University of Arizona in Tucson. The initial appointment will be for one year with reappointment for a second year by mutual agreement.
    Research interests focus on these areas:
  1. Indirect Readout of DNA Sequence
  2. Structure-Function Studies of DNA repair proteins
  3. Structure-Function Studies of Replication Proteins from Eukaryotic Viruses
  4. Role of Poly(ADP-ribose)polymerase in epigenetics


  5. Ideal candidates would have a strong background in protein purification, biochemical and biophysical characterization, and x-ray crystallography.
