UNIQUE Research Experiences of MARC Students

Tori Matthews, a Junior in Molecular and Cellular Biology, in the UA lab of Dr. Leslie Tolbert, Division of Neurobiology conducted research in the lab of Dr. Brian Key, Dept of Anatomical Science, Univ. of Queensland, Australia. This was made possible through the BRAVO! Program.

Felipe Perez, a Senior in General Biology and Molecular and Cellular Biology, in the UA lab of Dr. Erik Henriksen, Department of Physiology attended the Space Life Sciences Training Program (SLSTP) at Kennedy Space Center in Florida. The SLSTP is sponsored by The National Aeronautics and Space Administration.

Francisco Villa, a Junior in Biochemistry and Molecular and Cellular Biology, in the UA lab of Dr. John Little, Department of Biochemistry conducted research in the lab of Dr. Hiroshi Nakato, Tokyo Metropolitan University, Tokyo, Japan. This was made possible through the BRAVO! Program.
