Anthony Beas, a Senior in Biochemistry, in the lab of Dr. Mark Nelson, Department of Pathology, participated in the Summer Research Internship Scholars Program (SRISP), University of California, San Diego.

Jullyn Chargualaf, a Senior in Molecular and Cellular Biology, in the lab of Dr. Pelagie Beeson, Department of Speech and Hearing Science spent a month in Mali, West Africa through the Fogarty International Research Training Pogram - Fogarty Mali Program at Univ of Maryland.

Paul Hoover, a Senior in Molecular and Cellular Biology, in the lab of Dr. Charles Sterling, Department of Veterinary Science and Microbiology conducted research in the lab of Dr. Robert Gilman at the Universidad Peruana Cayatano Heredia in Peru. This was made possible through the BRAVO! Program.

Kelli Randon, a Senior in Molecular and Cellular Biology, in the lab of Dr. Paul McDonagh, Department of Surgery participated in the Summer Undergraduate Research Experience (SURE) program at Emory University in Atlanta, GA
