Objective

The Fund shall support the research activities of several recipients each year, who will be designated Michael A. Wells Scholars. This support could include the travel of undergraduate researchers to national scientific meetings to present the results of their research, or for any other purpose that recognizes and encourages excellence in undergraduate research.
